DA Scott Perrilloux Endorses Buddy Caldwell For Attorney General

Baton Rouge -- Today, Scott Perrilloux, District Attorney for the 21st Judicial District announced his endorsement of Attorney General Buddy Caldwell for re-election.

“It is an easy decision for me to endorse Attorney General Buddy Caldwell for re-election. There isn’t another candidate in this race with the background and experience necessary to do the job of Attorney General – the state’s top lawyer”, said District Attorney Scott Perrilloux.

“As a former District Attorney for 29 years, I have the skill set necessary to continue building on the many accomplishments achieved in the AG’s office over the past 8 years. When seasoned, well-trained prosecutors, like Scott Perrilloux, endorse my candidacy for re-election, it is a true honor and validation of the successes we have achieved on behalf of the state of Louisiana and our citizens. The Attorney General must be prepared to work hand-in-hand with our District Attorneys when called upon. I am the only candidate in this race with the background, right experience, and training to do this job starting on day one,” said Attorney General Caldwell.

Attorney General Buddy Caldwell has previously been endorsed in his re-election for Attorney General by the following: Ascension Parish Sheriff Jeff Wiley; Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard; Earl Taylor, District Attorney for the 27th Judicial District; and The Republican Party of East Baton Rouge Parish.
